Do I need an adapter?
The Trijicon RMR Type 2 uses the Trijicon RMR footprint. If your pistol’s slide is cut for the Trijicon RMR footprint (or came with a matching plate), it mounts directly — no adapter needed. If your slide is cut for a different footprint, or uses a plate system such as Glock MOS, you’ll need an adapter plate that provides the Trijicon RMR pattern.
