Do I need an adapter?
The Viridian RFX15 1X17 Micro Green Dot Reflex Sight for Shield FDE uses the Shield RMSc footprint. If your pistol’s slide is cut for the Shield RMSc footprint (or came with a matching plate), it mounts directly — no adapter needed. If your slide is cut for a different footprint, or uses a plate system such as Glock MOS, you’ll need an adapter plate that provides the Shield RMSc pattern.
