Do I need an adapter?
The Shield Sights SMSc Glass Edition Mini Sight 4MOA uses the Shield RMSc footprint. If your pistol’s slide is cut for the Shield RMSc footprint (or came with a matching plate), it mounts directly — no adapter needed. If your slide is cut for a different footprint, or uses a plate system such as Glock MOS, you’ll need an adapter plate that provides the Shield RMSc pattern.
