Do I need an adapter?
The Ruger ReadyDot 15 MOA Reflex Sight — Shield RMSc Footprint uses the Shield RMSc footprint. If your pistol’s slide is cut for the Shield RMSc footprint (or came with a matching plate), it mounts directly — no adapter needed. If your slide is cut for a different footprint, or uses a plate system such as Glock MOS, you’ll need an adapter plate that provides the Shield RMSc pattern.
