SIG Sauer’s Romeo2 is an enclosed-emitter pistol optic that uses its own proprietary footprint. Enclosed designs seal the emitter against dust and debris, but the trade-off is limited cross-compatibility — expect to use a SIG-specific cut or plate.

Cross-compatibility
The Romeo2 is an enclosed-emitter optic on SIG’s own footprint. Like other enclosed sights (ACRO, 509T), it is not cross-compatible with open-emitter cuts without a dedicated adapter plate.
