The Docter footprint (also called the Noblex, Vortex, or Burris footprint) is one of the older and most cross-shared patterns. A single Docter-cut slide or plate accepts Vortex Venom/Viper, Burris FastFire, EOTech MRDS, Meopta, and Docter/Noblex optics interchangeably.

Cross-compatibility
The Docter/Noblex footprint is shared by Vortex (Venom, Viper), Burris (FastFire), EOTech (MRDS), Meopta, and Docter/Noblex optics — they interchange with one another. It is not the same as the RMR.
